- During the summer the mornings and evenings
are cooler, thus the water you sprinkle on your
grass doesn't evaporate before the plant can use
it - When you sprinkle when it's very bright outside
the water droplets act like tiny magnifying
glasses that magnifies the sun's rays and burns
up your grass
