What's the best place to get mulch?
Before we talk about where to get mulch, we have to
discuss what type of mulch you're after. If you're
doing around your house, you probably will want
processed and colored mulch. That way, you can order
the color that best complements your house, and it is
processed professionally so you get mulch that looks
professional and is nice to spread.
However, if you have beds that are further away from
your house and are quite large or you have many of
them, I would look at unprocessed mulch. This mulch
often come from tree branches that have been chopped
up and recycled. It may not have quite the quality, but
is much more cost-effective and will function just fine
as a weed barrier.

If you're looking for unprocessed mulch, call your local
tree removal company and they will point you in the
right direction. Many times, tree companies have so
much of the stuff, they just give it away.
